Jomon pottery from Fuchu

Jomon people had small tribe groups around 1700 AD. In the Yayoi time, there was a priest and a war chief as a ruler. From 500 AD, Japan called the ruler Emperor. At the very start, the government was mostly hunters and gatherers. In the museum, I saw many interesting things that I found out about Fuchu. One of the things was a house made out of straw and wood. I also saw a pig hanging on a rope from the ceiling. All the food I saw included pigs, pheasants, fish, and rabbits. I saw seeds and nuts being ground to eat. I saw people wearing animal skin for clothing. There were spears, bows and arrows hung up for me to see. The people I saw had war paint on their faces. Both the River Civilization and Place had similar elements like pottery, bronze work, hunting and gathering. I saw many things like bronze work which they used for money. In the River Civilizations, they had bronze work but used it for statues and tools and weapons
