Fuchu became a rich city because they tried other country's ideas. They took the ideas and plans from China and that way they made their cities. They used the same idea for writing as the Chinese. They based their government on the Chinese government. They also took some Chinese foods. This way they used China, a prosperous city, as a base to make their own prosperous city by using their ideas and examples. We went to as a fourth grade class to see the museum in Tama. It was a museum about the early civilization. Both Indus Valley civilizations, and the Tama River civilizations had, a central government, a way of writing and the way they made their cities were similar. Both kinds of civilizations also had agriculture. Most civilizations had these because this helped the people control their food supply and, therefore, they did not have to move around. They could then settle down and start a city. Agriculture was very important for both Indus Valley civilizations and Fuchu Early civilizations. These reasons show how the Tama and Indus Early civilizations were very similar.
