My name is Laura and my buddy is Shiori. When my Mom and Dad got married, they said, "When should we have Laura?" My Mom and Dad are from New York, but they didn't want to raise their children in such a big city, and were very happy when my Dad found a new job in Seattle. I enjoyed the mask project, including the feeling of Plaster of Paris on my face, and decorating the mask with sequins at school. Shiori means "purple silk" in Japanese. Her family and friends are important to her because without them her life would be very boring.
